Our Pilates and Yoga experience

Working as a Personal Trainer, My key interests were in weight loss, strength and flexibility work. Pilates was a natural progression! In 2002, I qualified as a Bodyfirm Pilates and Personal Trainer.

Motivated by Yoga and Meditation brought me to complete a Diploma in Hatha Yoga in 2005 Studying under Marie Quaill. I travelled to India for 6 months in 1999 and again for 6 months in 2006 to study different Meditation and Yoga styles. In 2007, I completed my STOTT Pilates Training, studying under Laureen Dubeau and Dani Gonzalez. I continue to attend Silent Meditation retreats, workshops and training courses throughout my career.

My Philosophy is that thought precedes creation. Mind and body are intricately intertwined. Meditation and staying present are the keys to a relaxed mind. Pilates and Yoga are the keys to a strong, balanced and relaxed Body.

Rehabilitation Management/Injury Prevention

I have worked with physiotherapy clinics for over 7 years. I work in consultation with physiotherapists to devise appropriate rehabilitation programs for each client for both injury management / rehabilitation and injury prevention.
