I was introduced to Marie by my physiotherapist who suggested a course of one-to-one pilates would benefit me, so I knew that I was in safe hands, and there began my journey. Actually I will rephrase that, my new beginning. I was new to pilates and consider I struck gold when I met Marie. Believe me when I say my body was stiff-nothing worked. I was coming out of 6 years of a muscle aching virus, but Marie encouraged me and never gave up on me and we had a good laugh along the way. Slowly I discovered I had a whole new body. I subsequently moved to a class and one year later I still enjoy my hour with Marie. No class is the same, so it is never boring, and the hour flies. To anyone thinking of taking up pilates I would urge them to go for it. Start with a one-to-one if you can afford it, but young or old it is never too late. I’m a granny, have osteoporosis and severe degeneration of the spine but Marie has turned my life around.
I've been attending Marie's classes regularly and like her relaxed yet at the same time challenging teaching style. She makes sure the class is suitable for different levels and her excellent knowledge of anatomy makes you feel safe as she always watches out that you keep the correct posture for the exercises and don't overstrain you muscles. I especially like that even though you work hard during the class (and you can feel it the next day), you feel more rejuvenated and calm than exhausted afterwards. My posture has definitely improved and I can feel my muscles getting stronger bit by bit.

Pilates was recommended to me by my Physiotherapist. Because of back, neck and arm pain and general lack of mobility I was unable to join a class and commenced one-to-one sessions with Marie.
My experience of Marie is that she is very knowledgeable about Pilates and is positive and holistic in her approach. She has guided me gently, but thoroughly, through exercises that have helped me become stronger, more flexible, have improved my posture and have generally given me a better sense of well-being.
Marie is very much a 'safe pair of hands' and I recommend her to anyone thinking of taking up Pilates.

I have been taking Marie's classes for over 18 months now and have found them to be excellent for core strengthening and improving flexibility. The classes are always enjoyable and there is plenty of variety in the exercises. I certainly noticed a big difference in my body shape, strength and posture after only a few classes. Plus Marie will adjust any exercises depending on your ability or if you have an injury etc. I have no hesitation in recommending Marie's classes to anyone.
I find Marie’s classes to be highly enjoyable. Marie easily incorporates the disciplines of yoga and the challenging moves from Pilates within her classes. I have found Pilates to be useful for building core strength and injury prevention in rugby, cycling etc. I cannot recommend Marie’s classes enough.

Due to neck and upper back pain I started to attend 1:1 Pilates classes with Marie. She has worked miracles, the pain is gone, but I continue the classes as Marie is such an excellent mentor and shows such an interest in you. You always feel uplifted after her class.

Despite the large numbers that attend her class, Marie always makes time to go around the class and readjust postures and to check if her students are doing the exercises correctly. Marie's classes are full of variety and never too predictable. Her background in yoga and meditation are very obvious and are a welcome addition to her Pilates classes. Marie will always provide alternative moves to anyone with an injury, or anyone looking for an extra challenge. I have been doing Pilates classes in Dublin city for over five year now and I can honestly say that Marie is the best Pilates teacher I've ever had, and I would highly recommend her to beginners and experienced alike.
